The Polyglot Conference in 2017 will be held at the Harpa Convention Centre, right in the centre of downtown Reykjavík. Catering will be provided at the venue on both days, and there is an on-site café. There are bars, shops and supermarkets located within a five minute walk of the venue.
The venue is Reykjavík's main convention and concert hall, and was opened in the year 2011. It has been highly awarded for its unique architectural style, and is host to many different types of events in Iceland, from rock concerts to operas to language conferences. It is fully accessible for people with disabilities. Directions can be found here on the Harpa's website. There is on site parking.
Attendees are responsible for arranging their own accommodations. Reykjavík offers everything from hostels and AirBnB to luxury hotels. Everywhere in downtown Reykjavík is easily walkable.
If you wish to look into sharing accommodation with other participants, you can connect and coordinate with them via the Polyglot Conference Facebook page.
We look forward to seeing you in October at the Polyglot Conference 2017 in Reykjavík!
